Utrecht duo Sudden Moves-previously known as T.U.R.F.-have been rapidly gaining fans and acclaim with their distinctive brand of disco house thumpers in the past couple of years. Their new 2-tracker for Australia's Refuge Recordings channels vintage late-'90s filter funk and French touch in beautifully authentic style, with the bumping groove and peppy beats of 'So Fresh, So Green' complemented nicely by the slightly more urgent 'Long Time' with its condensed horn blasts and infectious vocal refrains.
